The twenty-second installment of the 9to5Linux Weekly Roundup is out, for the week ending on February 28th, keeping you guys up to date with the most important things happening in the Linux world. If you missed last week’s Weekly Roundup, you can check it out here.
Thank you!
Thank you again everyone for another great week! Thank you for your comments, tips, and love you showed on social media, and last but not least a huge thank you to everyone who donated so far to keep this Linux website alive during the COVID-19 pandemic. You’re donations are always welcome here.
This has been a great week of Linux news and releases. We saw lots of goodies, including Kali Linux’s first ISO release in 2021 with the latest Xfce 4.16 desktop environment, a new Firefox release, a new Nitrux release, Xfce’s apps update for February, and more good things from the upcoming GNOME 40 desktop environment.
If you missed this week’s most important Linux news, distro and software releases, you can catch up with what’s new in the 9to5Linux Weekly Roundup for February 28th below.
Website changes
This week I’ve decided to change the font of the website’s logo text after more than a year (the one you see on the top left corner, which you can always click to go to the front page no matter where you are in the site). I think the new font better defines 9to5Linux, but your feedback is always welcome if you have other suggestions.
I know 9to5Linux still doesn’t have a logo to visual represent the brand as I am not a graphic artist myself and I don’t have money to pay one yet. Also, I don’t think it’s all that important and we’re still at the beginning of the road, so there’s still time to create one.
