Debian GNU/Linux 10.5 update is now available as the fifth point release in the latest stable Debian GNU/Linux 10 “Buster” operating system series. It includes BootHole mitigations, 62 security updates, and 101 miscellaneous fixes.
BootHole and seven other security vulnerabilities have been discovered in the GRUB2 bootloader, allowing attackers to bypass UEFI Secure Boot. All users are urged to update their systems immediately.
