A first look at Fedora Linux’s upcoming i3 spin, which features the i3 tiling window manager. The spin will be released as part of Fedora Linux 34 in late April 2021.
Fedora Linux 34 operating system is now available for public beta testing. The upcoming release introduces Btrfs transparent compression for more disk space, Linux kernel 5.11, GNOME 40 desktop environment, and PipeWire for handling audio streams.
Looks like Fedora Linux 34 Workstation will enable support for haptic touchpads, add incremental updates for Flatpak apps, enable PipeWire for audio, and add more Wayland improvements.
