Slimbook Fedora 2 laptops launch today as the first portable computers to ship with the latest Fedora Linux 40 operating system pre-installed.
Fedora Linux 40 distribution has been officially released and it’s now available for download powered by the latest Linux 6.8 kernel series and featuring the GNOME 46 and KDE Plasma 6 desktop environments.
Fedora Linux 40 is now available for public beta testing with the GNOME 46 desktop environment, Linux kernel 6.8, as well as an up-to-date GNU/Linux toolchain.
The upcoming Fedora Linux 40 operating system will come with the KDE Plasma 6 desktop environment on Wayland by default and drop the X11 session.
